3. Cookies and similar technologies
The Site sets no cookies. It uses no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, and no cross-site trackers.
The calculator does remember what you typed if you reload the page, but it does this with sessionStorage in your own browser rather than a cookie. Nothing in sessionStorage is ever sent to us, and your browser discards it when you close the tab. You can clear it at any time through your browser's site data settings, and the calculators keep working without it.
If we ever add analytics, it will be a cookieless, privacy-respecting tool that does not track you across other sites, and this policy will be updated to name it before it goes live.
4. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Operate, secure and maintain the Site.
- Understand which calculators and guides are useful, so we can improve them.
- Respond to your questions, corrections, or feedback.
- Comply with our legal obligations.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making that has a legal or similarly significant effect on you.
